Global Agile Communities
According to Wikipedia, a community of practice (CoP) is a group of people who share a craft and/or a profession. It can evolve naturally because of the members’ common interest, or it can be created deliberately with the goal of gaining knowledge related to a specific field.
It is ‘’relatively’’ easy to build a CoP in the same geographical area, however when a global organization with over 170,000 employees worldwide wants to build a community-like experience to share knowledge and improve, it certainly has its challenges.
DXC Lithuania has stood up for the challenge and acted as the Catalyst for creating an Agile Arms CoP across different continents, time zones and cultures.
In this talk, Sarunas from Lithuania and Gabor from Australia share the challenges and the story of how this community was born and the most important – insights how such Agile CoP can be initiated and start helping you and your organization.
